Hair color
I have just colored my hair with Manic Panic Pillarbox red yesterday and have decided what I think about it.
Pros: Its an awesome color. It would be nicer if my mom let me bleach my hair first, but she wont. My hair is a natural dark blond. Ashy+golden highlights in it. But I've been coloring my hair for about a year and a half now. When I met my girlfriend I was on a few month break so my hair could rest. I have been through red highlights, dark brown, and all sorts of red. From a light ginger red, to a deep black cherry. I have never used Manic Panic before. I've always used permanent hair color from Sally's or CVS or Target. But anyways back to what I was saying. The pros of this color is that it's an awesome color and it wont damage your hair.
Cons: Cons are. . . it will stain EVERYTHING. Nails, hands, face, scalp, shower, any towel you use to dry your hair with, ect. once its dry it wont stain anything anymore but you still have the problem of a stained scalp. So if you are going to do Manic Panic, DONT do it before you have to go somewhere important. Also, it washes out fast. Now, i've only had it in for a day now. I dyed it yesterday. But i've had friends who have used it and said it does. And if you dont bleach your hair, its not going to be bright like a "kid" color red. more of a burgundy color.
For a permanent hair color, use a red color from CVS. Maybe True Red by Feria. But it could damage your hair if colored to many times.
For semi permanent hair color, use Manic panic. But get ready for some staining and re dying in about a week or so. 2 at most. It wont damamge your hair, though.
By the way there are also tons of colors to chose from using the semi permanent hair colors, from yellow to dark blue, but there are not many colors to choose from using the CVS regular hair color. Only blonds, browns, black, and reds.
